This Yellow Catuai is a wonderful arabica coffee from the Los Lajones Estate in the Boquete region of Panama. This coffee is grown at an altitude range between 5,700 & 6,900 feet above sea level in volcanic clay. This altitude contributes to a longer time to maturity which lends to this coffee's natural sweetness.
Los Lajones Estate is located in an area that is geologically unique. It lies between two lava flows that create a uinque microclimate. This creates a coffee with some wonderfully distinct flavoring. We get sweet notes of yellow mango, berry and caramelized candy in the cup.
I have had my first cup of Jamaican coffee in Negril back in 1981. With the internet age, I order your coffee on line right to my door for several years now. I just wanted to say that an out of town friend came to my house for a visit and she turned down a cup of coffee because she said coffee was too hard on her stomach. I told her about Blue Mountain coffee being the "best in the world" and she had a cup. Then she had 3 more after that, saying it didn't bother her at all. Another convert to the "best coffee in the world". Life is too short to drink bad coffee. Yours is the best!!!!
